    How To Manage A Kindle Library

    As I shared last week, I believe that ebooks are a great simplifier. They allow me to read more wherever I am. Unfotunately, managing the electronic library can quickly get overwhelming. Unlike with paper books, you can't sort them into piles, and it can be difficult to find what you are looking for. This week I share the strategies I use to manage my books as well as my reading workflow.

    Limit What You See To Avoid Distraction

    I read a tweet today where someone said they went to read a text, and an hour later realized they were on Twitter. I thought to myself, what we need is a set of horse blinkers. Horse blinkers were a device used to keep horses from seeing things in their peripheral vision that could spook them. It forces the horse to look straight ahead, and not get distracted. There are a lot of times I wish I had a device like that...but I realized that there are a lot of electronic horse blinkers out there we can use. And by using them, you can limit what you see to avoid distraction.

In this article, I wanted to look at the areas that we hadn't covered already (paper, phone, email)...and realized that it all boiled down to Piles.
