Less clutter

Simplifying means getting rid of things that don’t work for you, or that you don’t use. That means that you are living in a place that has less stuff. The stuff that is clutter is what you don’t lose and love, so you will have less clutter.

Less stress

Less clutter means you have more space to breathe, which leads to less stress. It also means that you don’t have to look around and be reminded that you need to “do something” with the stuff around you. Again, leads to less stress.

Less money outlay

When you simplify your life, you will naturally spend less. I’m not talking about being a tightwad here, but simple solutions cost less than complicated ones. Take a can opener. An electric can opener will set you back $20. A good manual can opener, about $5.

More time

With your commitments simplified, you will have more time to do the things you want to do.

More connection

When you simplify what you do with your family, you will find more connection. Instead of a night at the movies, you can play games at home. The interaction leads to connection.

More enjoyment

All of the above reasons will lead to a more enjoyable life.
