Finishing Projects

Photo by Mr. Mystery I am vaguely aware that my project list has crept up in size. Once again, my desires have exceeded my capacity. I was looking at the projects I haven’t moved on, in an effort to jump start some things and start being productive again.

The problem is that not everything gets moved on every day or week. I have good intentions, but things aren’t necessarily making progress. That leads me to reconsider my approach. Instead of having a bunch of projects with a “whenever I get to them but before the ones on the someday list”, I think I need to limit the projects I have and finish them before moving on.

This may seem to be obvious to some people, but it is a revelation to me. So I will go through my projects and stick to the five most important this week, and finish them.

I’ll report back next week to say how it went.
