I am fully employed my position is working midnight shift from 11PM to 7AM, Sunday through Thursday, off Friday and Saturday. I am not able to keep up with the routine housework let alone the Spring Cleaning, and extra's that need done from time to time. Some days I am just too tired to do anything.
I have to get on a better schedule and stop wasting valuable time. I might add I have an 11 year old granddaughter who lives with us and 7 cats and 1 Lab. These are sources of enjoyment so eliminating anything is not an option.
I am just frustrated that the house is always a wreck and laundry is never done. I never get a chance to do the things that I really want to do, like sewing, exercising, cooking, and my first love of course shopping.

I've been unemployed for about 4 months now. I started realizing I needed a routine after the second month. I still do too much un-necessary surfing but until I find something else to fill the time, it keeps my mind active. The reason I even bothered to leave a comment here was because of your last comment (or thought). I too am beginning to really like doing what I am doing now. I feel guilty for even thinking it. My wife is working and "bringing home the bacon". I just do things around the house at my leisure. If I don't get the garage cleaned today I'll get it tomorrow. Today I might feel like cleaning the patio. I drop off and pick up our granddaughter everyday and spend a few hours looking for work on CareerBuilder. It's stress free and I'm beginning to really enjoy it.
