I love digital photos. You can see them right after printing, print what you want, and send them all over the place with a click of a mouse. What I don’t love is organizing them.

I have taken the simple tactic of making a folder for each month (labeled YYYYMM, i.e. 200908 for August 2009) and dumping the photos in there. Unfortunately, our camera likes to reset its date, and I can have a difficult time figuring out when photos were taken. My husband is terrible about resetting the date, leaving me with tons of photos that are dated “1/1/1980″ that won’t sort properly.

So I looked for a way to reset the dates on photo files, so that they can sort properly.

Enter File Date Changer.

This application allows you to select files, then change the dates in a batch. Awesome software. Simple to use.

If you have ever needed to do this, check out this great little utility.

I have not been paid to endorse this product. I am just a happy user of the software.
