Losing the PDA was extremely painful, as you can attest. The main thing I learned was that everything needed to be on the PC in get-at-able format. I had too many things in my PDA only programs that did not have a PC interface.

I still have panicky thoughts every time the thing discharges itself, but with the Backup Buddy VFS, and knowing that at most I will be one day off from what is on the PC, I usually am able to calm down.

Oh no! Those too were my words as my PPC unexplicably STOPPED syncing with my Outlook task list last month. There are so many things that I tried to put down in the PDA that I now must retrieve and verify in my @home helper. I too have used this to review what was/is important and find new possible sources of help. (BTW I used adbidea [happyroadjack.com] to sort of sync in the meantime as it too has a ppc/pc link. Now I have found Accomplice, but I am looking forward to resetting the PDA AFTER I finish reviewing for "lost" information.)
