I’ve been getting back into playing quick computer/PDA games lately. Here are my favorites of the moment:

Froggy

Froggy is the PDA version of the arcade game Frogger. With great graphics and sounds, it is a fun diversion as you try and get the little frog across the busy highway and over the swift river to his home.

Herdin’ Catz

I’ve managed software programmers before, and Herdin’ Catz is easier. In this game, you use your stylus to get the cats to go to various places. It’s challenging, funny and fun.

Solitaire

This version of Solitare came from Astraware. It has great graphics and multiple games of solitaire within it.

Sodoku

I love logic puzzles, and the Astraware Sudoku, with their downloadable puzzle packs and game generator, provide me with a mental challenge. This version of Sudoku allows hints or not, and has multiple levels of difficulty.

Word Wiggle

In WordWiggle you are presented with a grid of letters and asked to make words. The game allows you to customize how big the grid is, how long you play and how long your words have to be.

Scrabble

Scrabble for PDA is a great version of the game, and has a built-in dictionary, and also a helper function that will suggest words when you are truly stuck (or truly lazy).
