NaNoWriMo Update: I Did It!

I pushed through the 50,000 word barrier at 11:00 p.m. on 11/29/2010.
I am about halfway through the plot.
A lesson learned from previous years: I cannot take December off or the book will languish.
I’m taking a break until the weekend, when I will start work on the rest of the book. Not a grueling pace, though. I’m aiming for 750 words a day average. The rest of this week I’ll be figuring out what needs to happen in the next parts.

Congrats LJ
Good luck moving forward in December. I did NaNo again this year and am trying to keep up the writing habit past November to work on revising and finishing. Something I haven’t managed to do before.
I really think that is the key – keeping the momentum going. I start writing again tomorrow.
