Stacks And Stacks has a list of quick computer cleanups at “10-minute clutter hacks – Computer – StacksAndStacks.com“. Quick little things to get some of the junk off your computer.
In “Slow Makes Sense | Zen Habits“, has a great commentary:
Microsoft’s message is, “Do more faster.” I am not sure I want to. I want to do less. “Do more faster,” is a good enough message for a machine. … But this message does not speak to me. I am a human.
“Advice for students: N’allez pas trop vite – Stepcase Lifehack” falls into the slowing down theme. Translated, I have been told, it means “don’t go too fast.” One of the things I regret about my university time was that I never really took the time to be in the city. I never learned about the buildings or the history, and I never visited some of the great places around campus. It applies to those of us not in college anymore as well. If you are a transplant to a city, how much do you know about it? How much have you explored?
Dumb Little Man had a take on the cup half-full/half-empty in “The Ancient Method For Creating A Life of Abundance | Dumb Little Man“:
Instead of thinking half empty or half full, if you were to pour the contents of the cup into a smaller cup, you would now in possession of one full cup.
Shift your frame of reference, and things change.
