Open Loops 3/10/2009: Articles I Think Worth Passing Along
Posted on March 10, 2009 by LJ
Tuesdays are open loop at SimpleProductivity blog.
“13 Things You Must Balance in Your Life!” over at Dumb Little Man gives a list of things to consider balancing. The article caught my attention because it adds some things I never thought of in balance: namely children, your car tires and education/action.
“As a Child I was Conned”” at Productivity501 has a good point. Those of us raised to believe that the future would become Jetson-like need to remember that
Technology merely creates the possiblility for improvement. Your personal results depend entirely on how you use the tools at your disposal.
Unclutterer first brought this to my attention: “Universal cell phone charger by 2012“. Struggling to find a USB charger for my new phone, I just wish it was sooner…
WebWorkerDaily’s “Ditching the Crutch: Improve Productivity by Avoiding the Lure of the New” brought me up short. I love shiny new gadgets, and I wondered if I too was “waiting and anticipating much more than I was doing and producing”. The three points in the articles are ones I need to incorporate into my life: if I can do things with what is on hand, do it; take a non-tech day now and then; and have an IT refresh schedule.
