WebWorkerDaily’s “Ditching the Crutch: Improve Productivity by Avoiding the Lure of the New” brought me up short. I love shiny new gadgets, and I wondered if I too was “waiting and anticipating much more than I was doing and producing”. The three points in the articles are ones I need to incorporate into my life: if I can do things with what is on hand, do it; take a non-tech day now and then; and have an IT refresh schedule.
