Open Loops 6/9/2009: Articles I Think Worth Passing Along
Posted on June 9, 2009 by LJ
Tuesdays are open loop at SimpleProductivity blog.
Dumb Little Man posted an article, “Use Time Wisely to Change Your Life” The point that jumped out at me is that many people spend too much time being mad. Irritations can pile up if we let them. It’s better for us to remember “Don’t sweat the small stuff; and it’s all small stuff.”
Unclutterer ran an article: “Not getting things done? Try WSD“. It really does boil down capturing. Write Stuff Down. Very simple. But managing our tasks and productivity has to do with what happens to that stuff we write down…
My Simpler Life is facing unemployment, and Beth documents the steps they have taken in “What to Do When Laid Off“. It’s a scary place to be, I know this from experience. Beth’s guide can help you take the first steps in how to cut back expenses.
“Where is Your Precious Focus Going Today?” at The Positivity Blog caught my eye with “Are you focusing on your most important tasks or goals or are you filling up your time by doing the usual busywork or stuff that might be easier mentally and emotionally to get done?” I tend to gravitate to the stuff that is easy. It’s got me looking at why I resist certain tasks.
