Tuesdays are open loop at SimpleProductivity blog.
Over at a recent find, Start Being Your Best, there is a great series on Life Design which can be found at “Life Design Series“. It talks about the whys and goals of life design.
Cast iron pots are durable and easy to cook with, but most people avoid them because of the care cast iron requires. Apartment Therapy has a great article, “Technique: Seasoning Cast Iron” which takes all the guess work out of the process.
Almost Frugal compares dieting with curbing expenditures in “I Want It All, I Want It Now: Curbing The ‘Gimmies’“. What a great look at two very similar issues!
People frequently ask me for home computer help. The MakeUseOf article “How To Set Up Your Own Secured Wi-Fi Hotspot” is going to become a standard reference document for me to pass along.
I’m a big believer in Flylady’s adage “You can’t organize clutter”. Wisebread takes it more in depth in “Stuff will never make you organized“. A good summary: “Just don’t imagine that buying new stuff will help you become organized. The only thing that organizes your old stuff is organizing your old stuff. If you haven’t already done that, any new stuff you buy is just more stuff to organize.“
Lifehacker’s Gina Trapani is writing for Harvard Business Review now, and has very clear article on organizing your workspace at “Organize Your Workspace for Maximum Productivity“
