Erin over at Unclutterer talks about “Making exceptions to your uncluttered standards”. Her point: “If getting rid of the object causes more distraction than having the object, I keep it.” I have reached the point in decluttering where there is real resistance to getting rid of clutter, and this point is a good one to judge items by.

Simplicity is not always about doing it yourself. Small Notebook talks about how to decide when it is, and isn’t best to DIY. “Simple Living Myth: DIY is Always Best”

OrganizeIt, in “Productivity Tips #15: Focus On That Which Matters Most – Work smart, play smart” has a great summary of what productivity is, and isn’t: “Productivity isn’t about doing as much as possible or being always busy….It’s about doing the right things in the most efficient way possible so you’re less stressed and have more free time to play with.”

Most of us can waste a lot of time following rabbit trails across the Internet. But if you are purposely looking for a way to waste time, Dumb Little Man has a great list. “Ditch Productivity For A Day: 12 Great Sites To Kill Time & Have Fun”. There were new ones on there for me, but my favorite didn’t appear on the list: The Daily WTF (of course, WTF stands for Worse Than Failure…)

I liked this article, “12 Surprisingly Simple Ways to Get More Done” over at MoneyNing. It’s a very pointed set of reminders of stuff you probably already know.
