- This is a great little set of tips that gives you some mini-boosts to get past blocks. From Wrike’s “Tips and Tricks. Productivity. How to Increase Productivity at Work: 6 Mind-Switching Hacks”
- If you use Chrome and Gmail, you can stop the flood of email for a while. After all, who wants to check an empty email inbox? Lifehacker has the details at “Inbox Pause Puts Your Email on Hold So You Can Actually Relax or Get Things Done”
- We’re not talking physical wealth here, rather the things that truly matter. Check out, from Marc and Angel, “9 Free Ways to Become Wealthy”
- These glowing hands are too awesome, and just in time for Halloween! Let’s get spooky with CFabbriDesigns at “Glowing Hands”
- What struck me about this post was the point that you can make more progress with little-and-often rather than blocks of time less often. I have a few things I need to work on daily, so I will be checking out Commit. From Stepcase Lifehack’s “How to Use a Daily Reminder iPhone App to Write a Book”
- Just having had to furnish a studio apartment for my husband while he works 3 hours from home, I used this list as a basis for things I might otherwise forget. Of course, it works for dorms too. From Clutter Diet Blog’s “21 Not-So-Obvious Things to Remember for College Dorm Rooms”
- Critical thinking isn’t just necessary when it comes to elections, but with the daily stuff we run into. It is far too easy to be whiled into a trap by people savvy enough to play on our beliefs. Here are some tips from Wisebread on “7 Steps to Improving Your Critical Thinking”
- I’m curious – how many people out there actually have multiple income streams? Not just potential pools of money they could draw on should the need arise, but real income? This was inspired by Life Optimizer’s “How to Safeguard Your Income”
- I don’t buy into the idea that being offended is the same as being irritated. But I think people take offense too easily these days. Stepcase Lifehack gives you three ways to get around it at “Stop Being Offended Today: 3 Cures for Everything That Irritates You”
