Mondays are productivity days at SimpleProductivity blog.
I’ve been writing at SimpleProductivityBlog.com for years…
My blogging days started with a blog about PDA applications (yes, I have been doing it that long).
But honestly, for the past few months, I couldn’t see the point. I’ve been yammering about simplifying productivity systems for a long time, to make the system work for the individual, rather than making the individual work for the system.
The problem isn’t that productivity systems need to be simplified anymore.
The problem is that the productivity systems don’t work for our current lives.
The Way It Was
Back then, there were no smart phones. Few people could work from home unless home was the office. Faxes were still in major use, and productivity systems were abounding.
But now we are 10 years in the future. Almost everyone has a smart phone. Faxes are antiques and business is conducted through email and phone calls. People are more connected to work and others than they have ever been.
It’s time to evolve. It’s time to take a look at Whole Life Productivity.
So to that end, this is the last article for SimpleProductivityBlog.com.
What does this mean to you?
SimpleProductivityBlog.com will remain open as an archive, but everything else will be over at the new site, Whole Life Productivity
If you get the articles via email, you will continue to get articles from the new blog.
If you read the articles via RSS, you will be redirected automatically.
If you read the articles on the website, you will need to go to Whole Life Productivity
What can I expect?
Whole Life Productivity is going to focus on applying productivity techniques to your whole life. That will mean looking at systems, organization, time management, software and more…that will apply either at work or home or both! We will look at where the old systems break down, where new systems stand up, and everything in between. We’ll take the how and why of productivity systems and see how we can make them apply across our whole lives.
At this point, I expect to release one free article a week. This article will be full content, just as you have come to expect over the last 10 years.
In addition, I will be releasing exclusive articles to my Patreon supporters (You can support me at Patreon here). This will include original articles, in-depth expansions of the free article of the week, and freebie forms and books to help you with your productivity.
What else is coming?
At this point, I have a few other things in the work. More ebooks on email productivity. A productivity manifesto. A course on creating your own house management system. And some other ideas that haven’t taken full root.
Thank you for being a reader of SimpleProductivityBlog.com. I hope you have gotten useful information from this blog, and I look forward to seeing you over at Whole Life Productivity
