Summary

Agendus Mail SSL, by Iambic, is an email send/receive package..

Overview

Manufacturer: Iambic, Inc
Platform: Palm
Current Version: Palm: 4.4

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Synchs with multiple email accounts
  • Easy to use
  • Integrates with Agendus
  • Allows me to track email sent to contacts using the history feature of Agendus
  • Works with the wireless card to fetch mail without Hotsynch

Cons

  • Lots of releases
  • Expensive
  • Released too early in the testing cycle
  • I had to buy an upgraded license to get it to work with SSL mail

Why Did I Download/Buy This?

I needed an email package to replace Eudora Internet Suite, which had been discontinued. After looking at several packages, I realized I wanted one that would integrate with Agendus and still pick up my desktop Eudora client. I found out after I bought the initial license, though, (included with Agendus Pro) that I had to upgrade Mail almost immediately so that I could use it to pop my other email accounts.
I no longer take upgrades to this software, because Iambic requires upgrade fees, and the program does what I wish; except that it does not allow me to synch more than one folder with the desktop.

How Do I Use This?

When I am on the go, I can fetch and process my email anywhere there is a wireless connection available.
