Why Did I Download/Buy This?
I was having problems with an aspect of GTD, where I would “collect” items in my Slap application for processing…and then forget they were there. I was also falling out of touch with my morning and evening checklists. So I looked for a program that would launch applications at certain times.
How Do I Use This?
The first thing I set this up for was to work with ReDo, the repeating task manager. I had had a couple of nights where it didn’t fire off for whatever reason, and LookAtMe took care of this. The next item is to launch my task list immediately after ReDo fires, as a visual indication that the tasks were inserted.
More recently I added alarms for checking my to-do list at noon, and for displaying my morning and evening checklists.
This application takes the PDA from a passive device to one that actively reminds me of things every day.
