Music, by Daniel Church, is a pitch pipe for the palm.

Overview

Manufacturer: Daniel Church
Platform: Palm
Current Version: Palm: 1.1

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • One screen interface
  • Easy to use
  • Can generate pitches
  • Can generate tempo
  • Free
  • Solid software

Cons

  • The metronome function is not strong
  • No way to get out without exiting back to the application list

Why Did I Download/Buy This?

When I was looking for a PDA metronome, I evaluated this program. Although I found a much better metronome, I realized that this program would be perfect for those rehearsals when I am stuck in a classroom without a piano or pitch pipe.

How Do I Use This?

I can quickly give pitches using this application by tapping on the screen. It’s not sophisticated, it’s not pretty, but it works.
