Summary
Pocket Tunes, by NormSoft, Inc., is a great little MP3 player that does bookmarks.
Overview
Manufacturer: NormSoft, Inc.
Platform: Palm
Current Version: Palm: 3.1.6
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Easy to use
- Bookmarks
- Good sound quality
- Easy to get content into it
Cons
- None
Why Did I Download/Buy This?
RealPlayer came with my Zire72 (and I can’t get rid of it…grrr…) but RealPlayer doesn’t support bookmarks. I wanted to be able to listen to audio books on my device and be able to pick up where I left off, instead of scrolling through content.
How Do I Use This?
I used this program for almost a year, and then I broke down and got a separate MP3 player. Partly this was because I wanted to listen to my music collection, not just books and radio programs, and partly because I friend my PDA while switching out memory cards. I highly recommend it, though, to anyone who wants to use their Palm as an MP3 player.
