Raku DA,by Tuu’s Palmware, is a quick entry point for tasks, appointments and memos..

Overview

Software: Raku DA
Manufacturer: Tuu’s Palmware
Platform: Palm
Current Version: Palm: 2.1.3

Why Did I Download/Buy This?

This was one of the DA’s originally recommended to me that got me started down the DA path. Raku allows me to quickly enter a task, calendar event or memo without leaving the application I am in. These entries go straight into the Palm standard applications, where my other applications (Agendus and Bonsai) can pick them up.

How I Use This?

A big part of GTD is putting things into a trusted system. If I have a thought and I want to quickly enter it without losing track of where I am, this application allows me to do it, without leaving my current application, but letting me get it to a place where it will be processed later. I find that if I do not write it down, I will either forget it, or get sidetracked doing it. By making sure I get things into my pile for later processing, I don’t get sidetracked as easily.
