Overview

Manufacturer: Pacific Neo-Tek
Platform: Palm
Current Version: Palm: 2.13

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Can control any device with a remote control
  • Easy to program
  • Can combine multiple “clicks” into one button push
  • Good range

Cons

  • Sometimes “unprograms” itself

Why Did I Download/Buy This?

When you live in a house with a channel surfer, having your own remote can be very handy. When you have multiple remotes in the house, it is easy to combine them together using this program. Both of the situations apply to me. I have used this program for years, and it is awesome.

How Do I Use This?

I can turn off the television from the second floor (with a line of sight) when my child refuses to turn the tv off. I can set up the DVD with one click, and settle down without juggling multiple remotes (it took three before). And I can always find a way to adjust the radio in our office (which has no buttons!), even if I can’t find the remote. And if the channel surfer gets out of hand, I can counteract his clicks with ones of my own. :)
