Wednesdays are software days at SimpleProductivity blog.
I struggle with keeping files between home and work synchronized. I have tried multiple solutions, including FolderSync and FEBE, to keep my bookmarks working between home and work. You may be thinking that it isn’t that difficult – just use one of the online managers like Google Toolbar or del.icio.us; yet I find these tools difficult to manage the transient bookmarks I use to do research or reading.
I recently came across a recommendation for FoxMarks, which synchronizes bookmarks for you. You create a free account on the FoxMarks server, and their Firefox add-on takes care of the rest. It can synchronize automatically and make it one less thing to remember to do.
So far, I have been liking Foxmarks over my FEBE/Foldersync solution simply because it requires no action on my part.
What do you use to keep your bookmarks organized between multiple places?
