The 10 O’Clock Rule

I am not a morning person. I rarely wake up on time, and then stumble through what I need to do pretty much unconscious.
The one thing I always do is get as much ready the night before (see “10 Things To Do To Simplify Getting Out the Door”). Most things that I do in the morning can be setup or done the night before.
The only trick is actually getting the stuff done the night before. At 9:45 every evening my computer pops up a window telling me to get off the computer and go to bed. However, those (rare) nights when I am not on the computer leaves me without a reminder.
“The 10 O’Clock Rule” over at LifeClever talks about how he gets around this: an alarm.
It makes sense. We use alarms to get us moving. So why not use one in the evening to make sure you get your stuff done…stuff that might get skipped if you stayed up too late. Not to mention an alarm that gets you to bed at a reasonable time…
