The Beauty of Multi-purpose Tools

Fridays are tip days at SimpleProductivity blog.
I know multi-purpose tools are all the rage with the rugged do-it-yourself-ers. I am not one of that category. So when I was given a cute little multi-purpose tool as a gift, I shrugged and tossed it into my purse.
The truth is, I have had to use that tool quite a bit in the last months:
- Fixing an umbrella strap
- Pulling a broken key out of a lock
- Undoing the screws on my computer case to clean out the fan
- Removing a nasty large splinter from my hand
- And finally, from today, cutting wire for a children’s project
Sometimes it pays to be prepared. Multi-purpose tools have served me well in the past few months. Let’s hear from you. Do you carry one? What have you used it for?
