Photo by KabaThis past weekend had something very odd about it.

I had nothing scheduled.

And while I should have welcomed it as an opportunity to work on projects without deadlines, the truth is I wandered aimlessly around the house, feeling very uncomfortable with my unscheduled time.

This worries me a little bit. I have always thought that the purpose of being ultra-productive was so that you could have free time to do as you wished, unscheduled. Yet here I was, yearning for a list to follow. It was like I couldn’t give myself permission to not do things or work on things that weren’t on “the list”.

As funny as it sounds, I think I may have to put together a list of items to do when I’m done with what I need to accomplish: an un-list list, so to speak.

dude, you need a hobby. or maybe you should try taking a step outside and watch some birds or try looking into the sky imagine what the clouds could be.

I definitely do NOT need another hobby. Hobbies end up on the todo list.

Your point about stepping outside is VERY well taken, though. I’ve lost touch with something very important here.
