Yes, I am aware of this software. However, I don’t want to have to go to the notes to see what tasks are from Bonsai…the § shows me at a glance within the task list without any further action on my part.

For those people who aren’t aware of it, this feature is GREAT for jumping back and forth between the task list and Bonsai, particularly on the Palm. The only “gotcha” is that sometimes the codes inserted into the notes of the task get out of sync with the Bonsai outline. To remedy this, open the outline on the PDA, go to Home, select the outline, choose Details, and click on Verify. This should bring the links back in sync.

Just found out that it also works in the palm desktop. You just have to select the task and click the little Bonsai icon on the top bar. It will launch Bonsai and place the cursor in front of that task. Thats cool. I just learnt it, so thoought I would share with you.

Hi LJ,

For the linked NA’s in the task list you can find some tags like this [BZ5] (you can find it in the notes field) which is inserted by Bonsai to indicate that this has been linked from Bonsai.

There is a hack by Bonsai called BackToBonsai which will take you back to Bonsai (this works only in Palm) when you click on the tag [BZ5].

Hope this will help you in not adding an additional § at the end of every Bonsai next action.

Regards
Venki
