Writing On the Palm
Posted on January 9, 2008 by LJ
As a followup to my post “Always Have A Notebook, or In Praise of Paper“, I’m going to say something unexpected again.
I don’t necessarily do all of my writing on paper.
For me, I use my PDA as a collection device. If I know something is going to end up in the computer, or filed somewhere on the PDA, I will mostly do the entry on the PDA. If it is something that will not, I will generally choose paper.
I was reminded of this recently as I set up a schedule for blog posts. I wanted to make sure that I had a good idea of where I was going, and also to get a backlog of posts set up for those times when it gets crazy and I don’t have time to write daily.
The most interesting part of this is that I am starting to write my blog posts from anywhere, using my PDA. So this post was started on the Palm, and finished up on the computer.
